SUMMER SILVERTEKS OVERVIEW

Computer Basic Training for Senior Citizens

Summer Silverteks is a 4-week program designed for senior citizens who would like to learn or improve their basic computer skills (using a word processor, sending email, using the internet, customizing their computer for ease of use, etc.).  Senior citizens also receive assistance with smartphone basics in this program.  The classes are taught by Mrs. Lynn Jackson with tutoring assistance by Colorado Futuretek teen students. It’s a win-win, providing a useful tutorial for our senior citizens and providing a meaningful employment opportunity for our high school students.

WHAT OUR SENIOR CITIZENS ARE SAYING

Thank you for providing accessible, flexible, and relevant instruction for computer use. I am so very grateful for the online training that has helped me to be a more useful person to my community groups.

Sending a heartfelt gratitude for everything…Still excited…. so I’m practicing what I learned.
