SUMMERTEK 2026 ONLINE OVERVIEW
Grades 8-12
SummerTEK 2026 is an exciting e-learning opportunity for students to explore rewarding careers and acquire valuable skills in a supportive and user-friendly environment. This summer we are offering the following online course:
CCNA v7 Introduction to Computer Networks
This course can be the first step toward industry recognized certifications and can open the door to internships and future career and entrepreneurial opportunities in areas of high job growth. Students who successfully complete this course will be awarded a certificate of completion and a stipend from Colorado Futuretek. The course will be offered online using Zoom.

This year, we are offering our CCNA Networking class in SummerTEK for high school students. SummerTEK courses are offered tuition-free.
Our SummerTEK high school courses are open to all students who are currently in high school or incoming freshmen. We focus on recruiting African-American and other underrepresented minority students. Applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 (C+) or higher, and experience using computers. Selection will be based on accomplishments inside and outside the classroom.
This year’s course offers valuable opportunities to learn about the basic building blocks of computer networks for home and small business enterprises in a supportive and user-friendly environment.
In addition to preparing for and completing a valuable certification, these courses are a great opportunity to enhance skills that are vital for success in the workplace.
